Earlier this year, driving through the night along the borders of Wilpattu National Park in north-eastern Sri Lanka, our headlights revealed a road sign warning of elephants crossing. Unfortunately we were unable to stop to get a shot, but it’s an image I’ll never forget. This, captured up on Buderim Mountain the other day is almost as cute:
