Coming back home I was quite surprised at how this sport has become so much more popular in just four or five years. In the evening, as they glide through the purple light, one can see why.

PS – Not having a pet of my own yet, I had a lovely time baby sitting my friends’ two cats at Christmas. It was amusing how each had a favourite spot. Kitka’s was on top of the neighbour’s roof – a real hot spot.
Good choice for this challenge. No dangling legs for the sharks to see…
Looks like a nice leisurely way to travel. I love the way cats know exactly where to go and make it their spot.

Lovely colours in the shot, Meredith. Last year I remember seeing a dog sitting quite placidly on the front end of one of these. I think he was fishing 🙂 Happy Easter!
we don’t see paddle boards down here … it looks awkward, but must be fun … lovely in the evening light Meredith 🙂
That is a poetic image. Beautiful reflection capture, Meredith!
That must be a wonderful feeling. Standing there gliding through the water so peacefully. If only I had some coordination.
It has taken off here to…every beach you go to you see them riding the waves. Cats are awesome, and the do so have their own spots…my two sure do
Wow! Amazing shots! Great post! 🙂
